Every remanufactured Volvo PT Series Transmission from Industrial Reman undergoes a meticulous process to ensure maximum durability and performance.
All frictions and steels are replaced throughout the transmission, and a new complete seal and gasket kit is installed. Additionally, all ball bearings and wear bushings are replaced, and a new higher-volume charging pump is added to each unit. Each clutch pack is fitted with quick-connect Volvo-style fittings in the pressure ports, allowing verification that they meet factory specifications during the Dynamometer (Dyno) Test.
Genuine OEM parts are used to replace all PWM solenoids, pressure monitors, fluid level sensors, and speed sensors, ensuring the highest quality. A new external filter is installed, and all control valve springs are replaced according to OEM instructions, while planetary thrust washers are replaced as needed.
Each remanufactured transmission also includes a rebuilt torque converter as standard. Before delivery, all transmissions undergo a comprehensive 5-Step Evaluation on the Dyno, which includes pressure checks, leak detection, noise evaluation, solenoid valve function assessment, and sensor function testing using the TEM-CO TestBox.
